Art Archive Various bits and pieces, some with description… Graphic design around a text, in this case about Ludovico Einaudi's piece Una Mattina. RN wallpaper Blue Sun v1 (from more than a decade ago). RN logo Blue Moon Close up view of the ship doodle, ballpoint on wood. Another job was at a copy store. We had this new fancy Canon laserprinter (this was before graphics software and the computer power necessary to use it became available for regular folk, let alone artists on a budget ????) and I had this customer coming in with some artwork, asking me to help him digitally alter it, make it into something new, and then print it out. We made quite a few beautiful prints together like this and I had a great time discussing techniques and possibilities. The prints were bringing in the money, so my boss was quite happy to let me do this in his time. When asked if I would like a print to keep for myself, I chose this one. We inverted it and did some work on the colours. My first full time job was at the checkout of a DIY store. When there was nothing to do, I used to doodle a bit on the sticks that we gave the customers with their cans of paint to stir them with. I had a whole bunch more of these, but somehow they got lost, like quite a lot of my other art over the years. Glad these survived. I particularly like the little ship and the stormy seas ????.
